Deleting thumbnails of images no longer in your digital kits
I deleted files outside of ACDSee, how can I get rid of the thumbnails...?
Solution:
There is an easy way to get rid of them. They're called orphaned
thumbnails because their files have been deleted. It's very easy to get
rid of them:
Under Database | Database Maintenance - then choose Remove Orphan Folders (Remove Orphan Folders: Deletes any out-of-date or broken
references to missing files or information for the selected folder. It
is only possible to check for orphans in folders located on your
computer. This option will not be visible if the folder is located on a
network.)
This will delete those thumbnails. Then it's recommended that you
click on Database | Optimize Database
