Manually editing the registry settings

on XP:

1. Go to the Start Menu | Run. Type in REGEDIT and hit Enter.
   
2. Click on the + sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
3. Click on the + sign next to Software.
4. Right Click on the ACD Systems entry (Folder) and select Delete.
   

on Vista:

1. Close Photo Manager
2. Go to the Start Menu
3. Then click on Search and Type in REGEDIT and hit Enter.
4. Click on the + sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
5. Click on the + sign next to Software.
6. Right Click on the ACD Systems entry (Folder) and
7. Select Delete.
8. Close this program
9. Reopen Photo Manager
