Resize Images: How can I resize my layouts to upload to galleries?
This will explain how to easily resize your layouts to post at galleries.
Select the images you want to resize. Hold down the shift key while selecting and this will allow you select more.
Go to Tools -> Resize Images (or Ctrl-R)
I usually choose the Size in pixels button and bring my pixel
resolution down to 350x350. You can enter in any size here to meet
gallery requirements.
Make sure you have "Preserve original aspect ratio" checked otherwise
your photo may be stretched or squashed if it isn't square.
I also chose Fit within Width and Height. Mine are usually square so
this doesn't matter. If you have rectangle, the longest side will be the number of pixels.
Now choose Options button.
Make sure that you do NOT have "Remove/replace original file" because this will write over your original which you don't want.
I chose "Rename modified images and place in source folder" It will
make a smaller file, rename it "filename_resize" and place it in the
same folder.
You can also choose the next one and put it into your folder of choice.
Then click Save current settings as default and you won't have to hit the options again next time you do Batch Resize Images.
Click OK.
Now click on Start Resize
It will tell you the progress and eventually click on the Done button
Do you know of a Photo Book or Printing company that you would like to add to the list? Or are you a representative of one of these companies and would like to manage the information and photos on these pages.
